Extra-Curricular Opportunities
Students are entitled to a range of activities to support academic, vocational and sport- related development before school, during lunch and after school.
Some of our comprehensive range of extra-curricular activities to support students learning outside of normal school lessons are:
- Access to breakfast clubs to improve students reading
- A wide range of sporting activities and competitions
- Independent learning and research in the school library and through our extensive network of ICT facilities
- Opportunities to participate in events such as our Gym and Dance Show and our Expressive Arts Evening
- Theatre productions produced and delivered by our expressive performing arts team
- Additional homework and revision clubs
- Visits to the theatres, museums and art galleries
- Tutorials during key examination years
- Summer schools for targeted groups of students KS2 and KS3
- Participation in The Duke of Edinburgh Awards programme during weekends and school breaks
