DRAMA
A Drama education has a physical, emotional and social impact on our students. Drama helps students to see how crucial their understanding of the world needs to be. Drama teaches how vital it is to be self-confident and creative, have empathy and communication skills, collaborate with others, learn to concentrate, know how to solve problems, trust each other, be disciplined, have fun sometimes and relax at others, have a strong memory, be aware of social issues, and of course appreciate the arts. Thus, Drama helps enrich our students’ cultural capital which will give them an intellectual and economic advantage as they enter the workforce.
I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being. Oscar Wilde
