PSYCHOLOGY

Psychology is the application of the scientific method to the study human behavior. Through investigations into criminality, child development, psychological problems and social influence students will acquire knowledge of the theories and research of several eminent psychologists including Freud and Piaget.

To compliment this knowledge students will also acquire strategies to evaluate theories and critique research as well as receive instruction on how to conduct their own academic research. Equipped with these elements students of psychology will be better prepared to master the navigation through the ever changing social environments of the 21st century. Furthermore, studying psychology can be the starting point for careers in a wide range of fields including mental health, psychiatry, sports psychology, criminology, neuroscience, social media, advertising and childcare.

Once you start making the effort to "wake yourself up" - that is, be more mindful in your activities - you suddenly start appreciating life a lot more.
